A luxurious, warm and mysterious oriental spice, oud and musk fragrance, where soft aromatic lavender develops into a rich heart of saffron, agarwood and nutmeg.

The composition opens with a subtle lavender accord, adding a touch of aromatic freshness. At its heart, agarwood (oud) and saffron take centre stage, complemented by the warm spice of nutmeg.

The base of musk and patchouli adds depth, earthiness and a long-lasting warm character.

A rich niche-style fragrance particularly suited to autumn and winter candles, sophisticated home fragrances and oriental-inspired collections.

Recommended Use

Candles:

  • paraffin wax – approximately 4–6%;
  • vegetable wax – approximately 5–10%;
  • maximum in vegetable wax – 10%.

Always take the wax manufacturer's recommended maximum fragrance load into account.

A higher fragrance concentration does not necessarily produce stronger or better scent performance. Carry out a test pour and full burn test before larger-scale production.

Reed diffusers:

  • maximum fragrance concentration – 3.25%;
  • when using Augeo Clean Multi, follow the current IFRA documentation and safety assessment for the finished formulation.

Room fragrance products:

  • maximum fragrance concentration – 7%;
  • when using a cyclopentasiloxane base, follow the current IFRA documentation and safety assessment for the finished formulation.

These are fragrance-specific limits and should not be replaced by general usage levels applicable to other fragrance oils.

Evaluating the Fragrance

Fragrance oil is a concentrated fragrance composition, so we do not recommend smelling it directly from the bottle.

For an initial assessment, apply a small amount to a fragrance testing strip.

The true character, intensity and performance of the fragrance are best evaluated in the finished product, such as your chosen candle wax or diffuser base.

Colour Changes

This fragrance oil is light orange and may affect the colour of white or very pale wax, reed diffuser base or room fragrance formulations.

Although it contains no vanillin, other components of the fragrance composition may still influence the colour of the finished product.

Always carry out a small test before larger-scale production.

Important – Use of Documentation

Prepared SDS, CLP and other formulation-specific documents may only be used when the base, composition and fragrance concentration of the finished product exactly match the formulation stated in the documentation.

If the base, concentration or formulation changes, the classification and labelling of the finished product must be reassessed.

The 10% candle SDS and CLP documentation is not a recommendation to use 10% fragrance oil in every candle.
